Court of Honor and Rank Advancements/Merit Badges

The next Court of Honor is Saturday, September 17 (scouts will camp out at Hurd Park Sept. 16-18).

Scouts who believe they are ready for a rank advancement must make arrangements with Mr. Arnold (267-9140) for a Scoutmaster’s Conference by August 30^th and with Mrs. DeMore (267-9016) for a Board of Review by September 6^th. Mr. Arnold will not hold more than 5 scoutmaster conferences per meeting, so PLAN EARLY!

Completed merit badge cards must also be submitted to Mrs. DeMore by September 6^th.

 July 7-9, CHAMP Booth (set up July 6), Old Home Days (boys sell fried Oreos, etc. – proceeds benefit CHAMP, Citizens Helping Active Military Personnel)

July 8, Old Home Days parade, 11:00 – meet at the VFW at ??

July 17-22, Summer Camp, J.N. Webster

August 5-7, possible older boy campout

August 19-21, campout at McLeans’ property

August 26-28, Chester Fair parking (fundraiser for scouts’ individual accounts)

Sept. 16-18, fall Court of Honor (Saturday), with campout, Hurd Park (plan ahead for rank advancements!)
