Camp Workcoeman Paddle and Camping Trip - May 2013

Troop 8 went to Camp Workcoeman this weekend to get some canoe paddling practice in, see the camp - remember this is where we're going to summer camp - and to have a good time just hanging out in the woods!  Even though it was a shortened weekend (only 1 night), we had an awesome time paddling the lake, playing some games, taking a hiking tour of the camp, and cooking some fantastic food!   We also helped out the camp by performing a service project - we helped move about a dozen floating dock segments into the water - they each weighed about 10,000 lbs!!  Good job boys!!

Scouts who attended were:  Chase A., Jon T, Evan S., Seth-Adam G., Matt C., Noah G., Phillip W., and Greg W.  Thanks to the leaders who attended:  Mr. Arnold, Mr. Gibson, Mr. Terry, and Mr. Wentworth!
